Facility: Regional West Medical Center
Position Type: Allied Health/Clinical
Position Status: Part Time
Primary Duties: Join us in our bright, sunny lab, with quiet, private spaces for the cytotechnologists. This cytotechnologist will function as a general supervisor according to CLIA 88 for the daily operation of the Cytology department. They are expected to follow the laboratorys policies and procedures for specimen handling, processing, interpreting, documenting and reporting results for gynecologic and non-gynecologic cases. Pathologists on site!
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree and ASCP certification as a Cytotechnologist required. Must meet all requirements as a General Supervisor in Cytology under CLIA 88. Excellent customer service skills are required.
Schedule: Day shifts; Can start as early as 6am; Shift lengths can vary, with some 4, 6, and 8-hr shifts
