Primary Duties: This pharmacy tech will work approximately 20 hours per week in our retail pharmacy. Pharmacy techs assist the Pharmacists with filling orders for prescriptions. They also help to manage inventory, stock medications and retail items in the pharmacy, assist customers, answer phones, cashier, and input payroll deduction slips for prescriptions. Experienced techs are preferred, but we can provide on-the-job training!
Minimum Qualifications: MUST PASS CANDIDATE COMPETENCY EXAM IN HUMAN RESOURCES PRIOR TO BEING CONSIDERED. Exam may be taken between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, and no appointment is needed to take the exam. A High School diploma or the equivalent is required in order to be considered for this position. Candidates must be 19 years of age or older per State Health & Human Services requirements. Candidates must have good math skills, organizational skills and computer skills. Experience in pharmacy functions preferred. Candidates must have the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Schedule: 20 hours per week, between the hours of 9am - 6pm, and between Monday through Friday
Week/Holiday Schedule: Rotating Saturdays, 9am to 2pm
