Function: To provide instruction, support, guidance to people with disabilities in Residential services in the Council Bluffs Iowa area.

Scope: On a day-to-day basis, provide face-to-face contact with consumers, attend meetings, complete assessments, participate in goal setting & intervention planning, resource identification, linking activities, monitoring, writing reports, problem solving, implementing habilitation plans, developing and monitoring employee schedules, interacting with other providers and government agencies, and visiting potential consumers. Participate in On-Call responsibilities.

Accountabilities:

• Provide self-direction training which includes the identification of and response to dangerous or threatening situations, making decisions and choices affecting the individual's life and initiating changes in living arrangements or life activities.
• Implement money management training consisting of training and/or assistance in handling personal finances, making purchases and meeting personal financial obligations.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to CSR's in assigned work area.
• Develop, implement and monitor all schedules required.

Requirements:  High School Diploma, valid driver's license with good record, prior supervisory experience, dependable transportation. 

Helpful/Preferred:  Post secondary education, experience with people with disabilities, teaching skills.

Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri. Actual Hours Vary. Rotate on-call. CSC Must complete 24 hours direct care with clients and 16 hours non-direct, completing paperwork and taking clients to doctor appointments.
