DRIVER

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Endorse and comply with all Standard Heating and Air Conditioning’s Safety policies and initiatives.
• Support and encourages an Employee Owner culture.
• Effectively demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when working with customers, contractors, and co-workers.
• Drive company vehicles transporting materials to and from specified destinations.
• Demonstrates professionalism while operating company vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles daily to ensure proper working condition; maintain records such as vehicle logs and daily report issues.
• Verify all outgoing deliveries and vendor pickups; ensure orders are complete and undamaged.
• Deliver materials, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
• Load and unload trucks with assistance when available.
• Assist and support warehouse staff when available.
• Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist with contributing to department objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Available for flexible scheduling of work hours and overtime as required.

• Must be able to complete projects independently and without regular supervision.
• Certified on use of lift systems for movement of supplies and materials.
• Ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires lifting up to 55 lbs., the ability to stretch, stoop, kneel, or reach with your body, arms and/or legs.
• Requires working outdoors in varied environmental conditions.
