Our client is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to join their team as a Mediation Services Coordinator. This key role supports the delivery of mediation and conflict resolution services across Southeast Nebraska by coordinating cases, providing exceptional client support, managing administrative processes, and serving as a liaison with volunteer mediators and community partners. Responsibilities
Case Coordination

  • Coordinate mediation cases from intake through closure
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, referral sources, and volunteer mediators
  • Conduct intake interviews and gather information necessary for case assessment
  • Schedule mediation sessions, meetings, and related appointments
  • Prepare case materials, correspondence, and mediation agreements
  • Monitor case timelines and ensure timely follow-up with participants
  • Maintain accurate and complete case records

Client Services

  • Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person
  • Explain mediation services and program requirements to prospective clients
  • Assist clients in navigating the intake and scheduling process
  • Maintain professional, respectful, and confidential communication with all participants

Administrative Support

  • Manage electronic and physical case files
  • Enter and maintain client and case information in databases
  • Assist with data collection and reporting requirements
  • Prepare routine reports, forms, and correspondence
  • Support training events, outreach activities, and special projects
  • Assist with general office operations and administrative functions

Qualifications
Required

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to confidentiality

Preferred

  • Experience in mediation, conflict resolution, social services, nonprofit administration, legal support, education, victim services, or related fields
  • Experience coordinating services, managing cases, or working directly with clients
  • Familiarity with database management and recordkeeping systems
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
